With 343 Industries’ announcement regarding the Halo Championship Series, Iron Gaming is honored to announce that our upcoming event in Columbus, OH will be an HCS sanctioned event. This means that in addition to a chance at a guaranteed prize pool of at least $10,000, competitors will receive HCS Points.

Additionally, as an HCS sanctioned event, the game that will be played at our event will be Halo 2 Anniversary. We carefully considered the importance of this change and fully believe it to be the best choice for our community. With the support of our partners and 343 Industries, we feel as though this change will help to unify the Halo community.

We are also excited to announce our finalized lineup of casters, analysts, and hosts for our event. Iron Games Columbus will feature 343 Industries’ Andy “Bravo” Dudynsky and Twitch’s Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez. Joining them will be Halo legend David “Walshy” Walsh, Danish “Dmaq” Maqbool, Kelly “Mrs. Violence” Kelley, Frank “FrankTheShow” Bowen, Jonathan “Lan Valen” Miller, and Iron Gaming’s own AJ “Turbo” Dhir. They will cast the action live, provide expert analysis, and bring you highlights from the tournament floor.

Iron Gaming is proud to be the first scheduled HCS sanctioned LAN event. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity with the Halo community. We welcome all feedback and suggestions to make our event the best it can be for competitors, spectators, and the live audience that will watch our broadcast on Twitch.tv.
